Description
Limited edition: 12 numbered bottles
Five generations of agave know-how are captured in this bottle, born in Arandas, in the heart of Los Altos de Jalisco (NOM 1414). Here the Feliciano Vivanco y Asociados distillery turns carefully selected Blue Weber Tequilana agaves, matured for 8 years, into a spirit of rare elegance.
Everything is done using traditional methods: hand harvesting with the “jima” technique, slow cooking in stone and brick masonry ovens, extraction with a roller mill and deep well water. Fermentation, a fascinating hallmark of the house, takes place to the sound of Baroque and classical music. It is followed by double distillation in copper stills.
The tequila rests for about 50 months in ex-bourbon American oak barrels, under controlled humidity, temperature and light, to develop complexity and roundness. Bottling is done by hand, with filtration, tasting and rigorous checks that guarantee consistent quality.
A collector’s masterpiece. This extraordinary tequila comes in a handmade ceramic bottle, sealed with a stopper of genuine hand-worked amber, and is presented in a wooden case that is also entirely handcrafted. Every element is numbered and certified by the CRT (Consejo Regulador del Tequila).
The batch consists of only 12 unique bottles, a rare opportunity for collectors and connoisseurs looking for an exclusive piece.
